TOPPBOX MAY 2021: REVIEW
WHAT IS TOPPBOX?
Toppbox is a skincare/grooming box for men, delivered every two months to your home. It contains a great selection of skincare products for men, often products are hard to find at your local store. If you decide to subscribe to Toppbox (I have a discount code at the end of this review), you can personalise it with products that you prefer. Toppbox will ask you some questions such as: do you shave, or do you have a beard/stubble? How old are you? etc… then Toppbox will customise a box for you! Toppbox is delivered every two months and each box costs £22.
WHAT’S INSIDE THE BOX?
Every time you receive your box, you have a clever little leaflet that contains the lists of the products and some information about each item (retail price, how to use them, where to buy them etc).
NIP + FAB: GLYCOLIC FIX
I am a big fan of NIP + FAB. Their products are seriously good. This exfoliator is to be used at night 2-3 times a week before going to bed. It will leave your skin extremely soft. Apply to a clean, dry face.
STONE STREET SOAPHOUSE: HAY HO! BODY CREAM.
I discovered this British brand last year thanks to Toppbox. This body cream smells so good! I personally use this product at night after a shower and before going to bed. You will smell great, your skin will feel super smooth and ready for any events in the bedroom! Each product from Stone Street Soaphouse are free from parabens and artificial colours. It is also made with natural oils. So, now you know about what’s inside, but what does it smell like? To me, the Hay HO range, reminds me of summer time. It has a bit of chamomile, lavandin and celery seed extracts to give this hot summer day smell. I absolutely love it! This is my favourite product from the box!
SEACRET: RICH BODY MUD
Seacret is a brand made in Israel with minerals from the Dead Sea. I have a soap from Seacret that I really like, but this product is very different. How to use it? Apply all over your body and leave for 15 minutes, then rinse. According to Seacret, this Pure Dead Sea Mud helps to cleanse the skin to soothe and refresh. I am going to be honest with you, I haven’t tried this product yet, but I will very soon. Once I am ready I will publish some pics and stories on Instagram so stay tuned!
Q+A PEPPERMINT CLEANSER
Q+A is a British brand with quality products. First I want to mention the packaging. I really like the way it looks, the combination of colour works perfectly. This daily cleanser is part of the ultra fresh Peppermint range. This is not a product designed especially for men, but it’s an amazing cleanser! Use it the morning after the shower and you will feel awake, fresh, with clean skin! Love it!
ORDO: TOOTHPASTE
The great thing with Toppbox is that you always get fantastic selection of products. This toothpaste by Ordo is a perfect example. It is made in the UK and specially formulated with dentists. It’s a really great and fresh toothpaste!
TED BAKER: CU TESTER
From time to time Toppbox includes something extra and this time it’s a tester for CU Copper eau de toilette by Ted Baker. Definitely a manly fragrance with spicy tones. It has a lovely smell and I am pretty sure that if you use this everyday, people will ask about it. Perfect to use after your morning skincare routine.
FINAL THOUGHTS
